Day 1

Arrival In Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly representative from Nice Ventures will warmly welcome you to Tanzania and transfer you to your luxurious accommodation at the Gran Melia Arusha Hotel. Nestled between the city’s lively energy and the serene backdrop of Mount Meru, this elegant retreat offers the perfect setting to unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel’s infinity pool, enjoy fine dining, or explore Arusha’s colorful local markets and artisan shops. If the skies are clear, you might even catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, offering a memorable start to your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems, famous for its majestic baobab trees, immense elephant herds, and exceptional wildlife diversity. The scenic drive takes you through Maasai villages and rolling landscapes before entering the park. Spend the day exploring Tarangire’s vast savannahs and riverine forests, where lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests roam freely. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, attracts hundreds of animals, offering incredible photographic opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the river, then continue your game drive as the afternoon light turns golden over the plains. In the evening, retire to your luxurious lodge perched above the escarpment with panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley.

Day 3

NGORONGORO CRATER

Rise early for a journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a scenic drive along the crater rim, descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive. The crater floor is a haven for wildlife, home to nearly every species found in East Africa including elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, flamingos, and the elusive black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Hippo Pool as you watch these gentle giants bask in the water. The dramatic scenery, combined with the abundance of animals, makes this one of the most memorable safari experiences in Tanzania. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive to your elegant lodge for relaxation and dinner overlooking the highlands.

Day 4

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK & DEPARTURE

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Although small in size, the park boasts incredible ecological diversity from dense groundwater forests and acacia woodlands to open plains and the shimmering soda lake that attracts thousands of flamingos.

Embark on a morning game drive to spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, baboons, and over 400 species of birds. Lake Manyara’s stunning landscapes and tranquil atmosphere provide a perfect conclusion to your safari adventure. After your game drive, enjoy lunch and then begin your journey back to Arusha. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight or drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of your incredible Rift Valley adventure with Nice Ventures.
